It may not seem to be necessary, but researchers have found that successful people have a written plan.
If that is the key to success, why not try it? You cannot put your plan in writing? If you really mean that, do you expect to be able to overcome a real problem?

Whose view of the business? Of course we're providing what our customers want, but perception is everything. Do our customers think we are providing what they want?
When is it going to happen? Are you going to spend some time each week (day?) implementing your plan, or will all your time be devoting to coping with your existing business? Tomorrow never comes.
Send us a copy of your plan, then tell us how well you are achieving it. We can listen and encourage. We will acknowledge your difficulties, but we will not accept that they cannot be overcome.
Remember - a long journey starts with the first step.
