Fowles Spurling Cannon - can we save you money, or help you generate extra income?

Complying with SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, Student Loan, PAYE and NIC regulations is becoming more difficult every year.  Why not outsource your payroll?

Our payroll department manager is Amanda Chidwick.  She is supported by Tracy Howes and several other members of our staff can assist when required.

We can process payrolls on a weekly, two weekly, four weekly or monthly basis for payrolls of between 1 and 250+ employees.

We provide an "input sheet" which shows the details from the previous payslip.  These details can either be confirmed, by a tick, or overwritten with updated details.

Gross pay can be allocated over several headings per employer, e.g. Basic, Overtime, Bonus etc.  For each heading, either the gross amount can be written on the input sheet (£187.25) or the number of units at a given rate (35 hours @ £5.35).

Our payslip stationery is in 3 parts.  We keep one copy of each employees payslip and issue two copies, one for the employers retention and the other to be given to the employee.  The employee's copy can be security sealed.

We will agree a timescale from receipt of input sheet to availability of payslips with you.  We aim to allow two days for processing.

We advise you of the remittance due to the Inland Revenue each month.  We print the forms P14/P60 and the summary information required for form P35 as soon as possible after 5 April each year.

Our charges are typically £18 per quarter for monthly paid employees and £30 per quarter for weekly paid employees, invoiced at the end of each calendar quarter.  There is no separate charge for setting up new employees or issuing forms P45 on leaving, or for providing year end forms P14/P60 and P35 except for online filing.  We have no specific minimum charge.  There may be additional charges where we process the BACS transfer, for complex cases or where we provide other services.

(Our payroll service does not complete forms P9d or P11d although we will advise clients on these.)

You do not need to be an accounts client to use our payroll service.
